WHAT'S NEW
Hi there! How's it going?
As you will have seen on the main page, Nine Yards are reforming with the same lineup - Mike, Liddle and Wakey.

It has been so long since we updated this site (or even played) that you might not even have known that we did break up. However, that's all behind us now and we are starting to take bookings. Our first couple of gigs are at Wolsingham on the 10th of November, and Kirkby Stephen sometime soon after. Both times we have played these places before have been good gigs with great crowds, so it should be a cool way to start things off again. We will have support by bands from near the venues.
Otherwise, keep an eye on the gig list on the right of this page to see when we are playing next.

WE recently played at the last Wine Bar open mic night. It was the first time we've really done a decicated Nineyards set acoustically and it was a bit weird. There were quite alot of people watching which was fairly good, however it was kind of a last minute thing so we hadn't practiced an acoustic set and Mike had to play on some kind of bongo things. There is atheory, mind, that we are better without practice. We had no setlist and didn't really know how to translate the songs from their original forms, and me and Dave were a bit sort of "this is shit", onstage. Never mind, the response was really good - couldn't figure out how.

Aside from all that we have a new EP out which has been recorded at TCR (see links) and will be for sale at gigs or the TCR office, or you could probably order one by e-mailing one of us (see contact page).
See you all soon...
